Yes family, this email is exactly what you thought it was when you saw you got an email from me. It’s that time of year again. The biggest game of the year in the family… The one that matches all the hype… The one where there family gets to see The Champion in action yet again… The REAL big game… The Family Turkey Bowl sponsored by TJ Assemblies and The Trophy Shop. The Champion is ready to build on to his winnings from the 4th of July Bags Tournament (Shoutout to the partner Shelly) and take his talents to the Turkey Bowl where he plans to not only win the Turkey Bowl along side his teammates, but to dominate it and win the MVP this year.
I know many of you are asking yourselves, “But wait, didn’t Kevin play poor last year?” Or “Didn’t Dale and Bobby share the MVP? Not The Champion?” And to that I respond yes. That is indeed true. As many of you may have heard through ESPN the last few days, there are rumors circulating that I was injured during the game last year and I would like to speak on those rumors now. What most of you do not know is that at the game last year I was indeed playing injured. During the warmups last year I “pulled a hammie” as some say and was limited. I was hoping the news would stay within The Champion’s organization however the news leaked earlier this week.
I do not blame my injury for the poor performance I had offensively. All of the greats have played injured at multiple points in their life and have still been successful on the field…Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, Chris Carter, Randy Moss, I could go on. We know The Champion will soon one day fall within those names so my injury is no excuse for my poor performance last year. I took it upon myself to get healthier and better this year. The Champion is bigger this year with a 10 lb increase of muscle… not beer in the body weight, a 40 lb increase in Bench Press from last year, 35 lb increase in curls, as well as started to work on the legs again (I skipped legs for 4 years). The Champion is also faster with a .2 second increase in his 40 time.
All in all, The Champion is bigger, faster, stronger, healthier, more talented, and most importantly motivated to prove the doubters wrong this year. I welcome anyone to have the honor of playing along side The Champion and dare anyone to play against The Champion Thursday, November 27th at 9:30 am. Location TBD.
I’d like to thank you all for taking your time to read this email. God Bless you all and have a good day.
Love,
The Champion

I’m most impressed by the .2 second increase in the Champion’s 40 time. I don’t know anybody who can drink that fast!

“The Champion” is getting more and more hungry as the days go by to win that MVP trophy for the famous “Family Turkey Bowl”. After competing in two tournaments the past 3 weekends, he’s ready to avenge last years terrible offensive showing and win this years MVP.
In recent weeks we saw former co-MVP Dale do an interview with Erin Andrews predicting yet another MVP performance by himself. Bold statement as no player has won back to back MVPs in Family history. Can Dale be the first?
Prospect standout and co-MVP Bobby has kept his mouth silent all year unlike co-MVP Dale, and plans on doing his talking on the field. Coming off a 3 game win streak at Prospect we ask the question, “Can Bobby repeat last years co-MVP performance and lead his team to victory?”
Steven single handedly held the Champion in check last year with a stellar defensive performance and may have been the MVP if his team won. Coming off a few softball championships, Steven plans on bringing a winning attitude to the gridiron.
Tommy struggled with a shoulder injury last year. He plans to step up his game and become a huge factor in this years Turkey Bowl. Could be a dark horse for the MVP.
Former track athlete, “The Academic” plans on taking his brilliant mind onto the football field. Can his brilliant mind bring a different perspective onto the field and help his team win?
Nick had such an embarrassing year last year covering co-MVP Bobby that he will NOT be playing in this year’s game and will be spending time as far away from Bobby as he can, down in Texas.
Will the three young sisters make an appearance all together at this year’s Turkey Bowl? If so, it should be a competitive one between the sisters.
Will one time MVP Amy come out and play in the Turkey Bowl or stay home and focus on the Long Islands?
After getting showed up by his younger brother last year, can Derek avenge last year’s lost and potentially shut down the former MVP? The experts say he has the chance to, but does he have the motivation?
After a two touchdown game last year Charlie is out to show he has the talent to be a consistent factor.
After opening his own art studio in Chicago, can Tim take his success and passion onto the field?
Will Jerry and Justin show up to this years game even though they’ll be eating dinner elsewhere?
That’s what came first to my mind, and then I realized that Jenny will be *41* that day, Shelly (although an athlete in her day) would rather drink a few bloody Marys that morning, and Sandy, well, she is our best bet…she could kick ASS in her electronic wheelchair!
